The Nigerian Senate is again thrown into mourning as senator Mustapha Bukar has reportedly passed away this morning, Wednesday, April 4, after a brief illness.
The demise of the Katsina lawmaker came barely less than a week after the death of the senator Umar Buba Jibril, representing Lokoja/Kogi/Koton Karfe.
Meanwhile, a source in Katsina noted that the family of the APC senator had announced that the lawmaker died in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Bukar, born in Daura on December 31, 1954, was a civil engineer by training and was the Senator representing Katsina North Senatorial District in the Eight Senate.
